PowerPoint is an awesome tool for designing and presentation, however, it still lags behind when it comes to online platform. Of course, it has is own online alternative for Office, the Office web app.
Office Web app flawlessly allows you to edit and create presentation with its smooth and snappy interface, which sports a similar look to that of the desktop edition. However, it lacks a few vital features such as Social media sharing, It may be full-pledged, but I’m not ready to shell out extra money for upgrading to web apps.
So, for users who share my opinion, Here are a few alternatives for Sharing Presentations online.
ECW Presenter
ECW enables you to design and publish Banner ads, info graphics, Product Demos, and awesome presentations on the go. You don’t need any bulky, and overpriced desktop applications, while you can do all that on the web itself.
It includes almost every feature, PowerPoint and Keynote are equipped and in fact, a tad more. It sports hundreds of pre-made templates and intactive themes ready-made for our projects.
SlideOnline
It isn’t exactly an alternative for PowerPoint, but serves as a extension. It provides an innovative way to convert your presentations into HTML5 format, host it on their servers.
You can send the link to your audience or embed it on your blog to gain exposure. If you would wish to gain exposure, you can choose to make it ‘Publicly available’, so you can gain a lot of exposure from its huge user base.
AuthorStream
AuthorStream is one of the top platforms for sharing, backing up presentations over the internet. It is pretty much similar to SlideOnline. It even retains the animation, transitions and sound present on your presentation.
However, I prefer Slideonline over Authorstream, because of it’s obtrusive ads and slow processing.
