Fighter Alpha 2 is the much anticipated sequel to Capcom's hit
franchise known as Street Fighter Alpha, giving SF fans exactly what
they wanted: more characters, more moves, and a more balanced game. New
characters include: Gen from Street Fighter ( 1), Dhalsim & Zangief
from Street Fighter 2, and even one of the mid-bosses from Final Fight,
Rolento !

Street Fighter Alpha 2 retains most of the new gameplay
enhancements introduced in the prequel... returning are the Super Combo
Gauge, Air-Blocking, Alpha Counters, and fall breaking. The new
gameplay feature introduced this time around is the Custom Combo System,
allowing players to perform a series of basic and special moves to
create a custom combo of their own; until the timer gauge for the custom
combo runs out. Chain Combos from the prequel were taken out, although
Guy and Gen could still perform a couple. Street Fighter Alpha 2 also
fixed up the balance and damage issues that were found in the first
Street Fighter Alpha.

Presentation-wise, Street Fighter Alpha 2
succeeded the original in every way. Each of the characters had his/her
own unique stage; all of which were brilliantly drawn & designed and
were considerably more "exciting" than those found in the prequel.
Solid gameplay, awesome new music tracks, a new announcer, and a badass
intro all come together to make an amazing and memorable fighting game.
